I left Sue’s apartment without actually eating breakfast with her. It’s not that I didn’t want to, but she seemed to prefer staying in bed and I didn’t want to impose myself.

Harmony was heir to 2 of the biggest space exploration conglomerate: her mother's Transworld Shipping Conglomerate and her Father's Galactia Colonial Management Trust. When an accident occurs, she is exiled on Sigma 8, one of her father's outer colonies so her younger brother would become next in line.
On Sigma 8, man must wear clothes, but women are forbidden to do so. Also, Polygamy is the norm due to the high mortality rate of men
The first chapter deals with her life prior to her exile. The next 3 chapters chronicle the 14 months spent on the ship.
Characters
- Harmony: Heir to one of the biggest corporate empires, she ends up on Sigma 8, one of her father's colonies and doesn't really want to be a simple sister-wife.
- Mark: Prospective husband of Harmony, head of house 34, works on solar panels.
- Tiffany: Prospective sister-wife of Harmony, works on wheat fields with Audreane. Bisexual and attracted to Audreane, but her desire was awakened by Harmony
- Cassiopeia: Prospective sister-wife of Harmony, apple picker, rather shy and reserved.
- Penelope: Prospective sister-wife of Harmony, works on cows.
- Audreane: One of the two Stephen's wives (Mark's colleage), works on wheat fields with Tiffany. Bisexual and attracted to Tiffany.
- Rita: Town Elder, is now a widow and no longer has to remarry because of her age.
- Laura: Head-cook of the colony. She is the only single woman due to the importance of her job. Really doesn't seem to like men, but rather likes Harmony. Introduced late into the story for the reboot of 2014.
- Patrick: Mark's brother. Operates a mine. Introduced late into the story, even if planned since chapter 1.
