Two week types and Cathy

Last Friday, I made a change in the way my buffer is built.

I had noticed that since my schedule is composed of 2 alternating primary chapters, most of the weeks simply alternate with each other, with one week having Sue, Harmony, Suzy&Jill and Sam, and the other having Karen, Pat, Lizzie and Pets.

Of course, alternate stories like Phil or Lucy can change the schedule but I like the current state as it will be at the end of the current buffer, why?

Because on one of my 2 weeks, my stories are primarily sexual in nature while on the other the stories are primarily BDSM in nature, with 3 make chastity stories running back to back Monday to Wednesday, with the final story being Pets, my primary BDSM story.

As a result, I have named my two weeks “Sexuality week” and “BDSM week”, with the themes alternating. You can now see the color code in the schedule at the top and the buffer on the left.

Sue and Harmony have no BDSM in them. Suzy and Jill has very little BDSM content and is mainly for their home videos and Sam isn’t planned to have any at this point (even if there is mind control in it).

On the other hand, Karen is a enforced male chastity story while Pat and Pets partly take place in a public BDSM dungeon.

Lizzie is a little more complex to describe as it has both sexual and BDSM chapters, but it fits well on the BDSM week.

At this moment, the 2 weeks are not yet divided properly. Next week, for example, Pets from the BDSM week will be published during the Sexuality week, but a POVchapter the next week will cause the first Sexuality week (already fully written) to occur between August 11th and August 15th, and the first BDSM week (which still has 3 unwritten chapters) to occur the next one.

Oddly enough, this new method of writing means that the second sexuality week is already half written!

How will alternate stories work then?

In the past, an alternate story simply pushed the schedule, like the August 7th 2014 POV chapter (Cat’s day off) shifted the Thursday schedule one week.

But recently, I began using Alternates as true alternates, like Lucy Chapter 10 which replaced Pat Chapter 6 in the schedule instead of postponing it. The same occured a second time in the schedule with Lucy chapter 11 once again taking Pat’s spot while Pat was being redesigned (read more on that in the blog of September 5th, which is already written.

This is how Alternates will work from now on.

When a Lucy chapter will run, it will replace either a Sue or a Karen chapter. Same with Phil or Alex, who would both replace a Harmony or, more likely, a Pat chapter.

It’s the same with the Thursday alternates, POV and Olivia.

State of Cathy

Cathy was always the odd story on my site. I have a lot of fun writing her, but many of her aspects are too similar to other stories.

For example, Cathy incorporated fun elements (the sex charges atmosphere, the anything can go mood) which were initially planned for Lindsey. It eventually killed the Lindsey story…

It also incorporate deep thoughts by the narrator which were later added (more successfully I think) to Sue.

So, where do I go with Cathy?

It’s my least “serial” story which means that I constantly need to add new plot lines every few chapters with little hope of building on them, and yet, I like the settings.

Well, as it turns out, there is one story which I had never published on this site because the word document containing it was somehow corrupted. I am renaming it Alex (I forgot the original name) and I will try to rewrite it with the new knowledge I gained from this site.

Alex is one of my earliest stories. It predates Pets, Lucy and Cindy by a few years and was written shortly after I had given up on Pets, which had mostly been written on my old Palm Pilot (I had an external keyboard for it) while using mass transit to get to work.

In that regard, Alex was my first sexual story written on a computer which completely changed my writing speed and the story suffered greatly from it: I had been used to writing 40 minutes at a time at a slow deliberate pace and suddenly found myself able to type faster and longer with less “thinking time” to plan.

I hope to fix that now.

But, with the upcoming arrival of Alex, Cathy is going on hiatus.
